Cellular Details Tab

The Details tab allows you to view and edit key information relating to an individual subscriber.

This section:

  • Provides navigation information about the Details tab.
  • Highlights the key actions that can be performed using the Details tab.



Navigation

The following screenshot displays the Details tab of a subscriber's management page and outlines the key actions that can be conducted using this section.

This bar indicates the subscriber's current status.

Refer to the User Guide for more information about what each status means.

The Device Details panel displays information relating to the subscriber's:

  • ICCID, or Integrated Circuit Card Identifier.
    This is a unique 19-digit serial number that is printed on and stored in the SIM card.
    This may also be referred to as the SIM number.
  • MSISDN, or Mobile Station International Subscriber Directory Number.
    This is is a unique number, with a maximum length of 15 digits, used to identify the individual network subscriber.
  • IMSI, or International Mobile Subscriber Identity.
    This is a unique number that is used to identify an individual network subscriber.
    It uses the format: MCC-MNC-MSIN. The MCC value is the subscriber's Mobile Country Code, the MNC value is subscriber's Mobile Network Code and MSDIN is a sequential serial number.
  • IMEI, or International Mobile Equipment Identity.
    This is a unique number assigned to every mobile device. In the event that a device is lost or stolen, the IMEI can be used to blacklist the device and prevent it from connecting to a network. Blacklisting a device renders it useless, regardless of whether its SIM is replaced.
  • Data Number
    This field is only displayed if the subscriber uses CSD, or Circuit Switched Data.
    It is a unique number used by the subscriber to make analogue data calls.
    The subscriber may be using CSD if it is communicating with legacy technology, which does not support IP, or Internet Protocol, traffic.
  • Nickname
    This is a unique identifier that has been assigned to the subscriber by the user. Nicknames can be useful for quickly identifying subscribers. It is also possible to search for subscribers using nicknames.
  • Group
    If the subscriber is a member of a group, the name of the group they belong to is displayed here.

The Tariff panel displays information relating to the tariff that the subscriber is associated with.

The information displayed includes:

  • Line Rental
    This is the recurring line rental fee for each subscriber on the tariff.
  • Activation Date
    This is the date and time at which the subscriber was activated on the tariff.
  • Contract Start Date
    This is the date and time at which the subscriber's rolling contract with Connectivity Management started.
  • Contract Expiry Date
    This is the date and time at which the subscriber's rolling contract with Connectivity Management ended or is due to end. If a subscriber is terminated during the contract period, it may be subject to cancellation or other fees.
    If the subscriber is still active after the contract expiry date it will automatically enter into a 30-day rolling contract.

The Services panel displays the default and additional services associated with the subscriber.

The additional services that are available vary depending on the services that the customer has signed up for and the tariff that the subscriber is provisioned on.

Note that adding or removing additional services can impact on the subscriber's functionality and may also incur additional fees.

Please contact support if you have any enquiries regarding the additional service available on your account.

The DINA panel is displayed if a DINA membership is associated with your account.

This panel enables you to establish a DINA association for a subscriber.

For further information about setting up DINA, please refer to the FAQs.

The Advanced Network Information panel displays further information relating to the subscriber's network configuration.

Note that this panel is only displayed when viewing Pelion Global Roaming subscribers.

The information displayed in this panel includes:

  • VLR, or Visitor Location Register.
    If your subscribers are enabled to roam between networks, this number allows you to track which network your SIMs are subscribing to.
    To identify which network the VLR relates to, you can use a numbering plan service, such as this one.
  • MSC, or Mobile Switching Centre.
    This number is used to identify the Mobile Switching Centre that the SIM is subscribed to.
  • SGSN, or Serving GPRS Support Node.
    This number is used to identify the Serving GPRS Support Node that the SIM is subscribed to.
  • SGSN IP Address, or Serving Support Node Internet Protocol Address.
    This is the IP address of the mobile network's SGSN.
  • Mobile Network
    This is the mobile network to which the subscriber is connected.

The Tags panel displays the tags that have been assigned to the subscriber and enables you to add and remove tags.
