Connectivity Management 5.0 Known Issues
This section lists the known issues in this release of Connectivity Management.
The known issues are:
- Internet Explorer 11 compatibility issues.
- The EUI for devices is not displaying.
- The APN settings for EE 4G SIMs is displaying incorrectly.
- Bulk action limitations.
- Table filtering is not working.
- Result filtering is slow in the Logs section.
- Some operators are missing from the drop-down filter in the Notifications section.
Internet Explorer 11 Compatibility Issues
Issue
This version of Connectivity Management is incompatible with Internet Explorer 11.
Solution
This issue is being worked on and will be fixed in a future release.
In the meantime, Connectivity Management recommend using another browser, such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
EUI ID for LoRaWAN™ Devices is Not Displaying
Issue
Due to a known issue, the EUI for LoRa® devices is not being displayed on the Device Details page.
Solution
Note that a LoRa® device’s EUI number matches the device number, as a result the EUI number can be inferred from the device number.
The device number can be viewed in the Device Details panel on the device’s Device Details page.
APN Settings for EE 4G SIMs Displaying Incorrectly
Issue
Due to a known issue, the APN settings for EE 4G SIMs are not being displayed correctly within the platform.
Solution
This issue is being worked on and will be fixed in the next release.
In the meantime, please use the following settings:

Bulk Action Limitations
Issue
Due to a known issue, the ability to:
- Assign metadata to devices in bulk has been temporarily disabled.
- Bar and unbar devices in bulk has been temporarily disabled.
Solution
These capabilities will be re-enabled in a future release.
It is still possible to perform these actions on devices on an individual basis:
- Metadata can be assigned to devices on an individual basis via the Metadata tab on a device's Device Information Page.
- Devices can be barred or unbarred on an individual basis via the Devices Details tab on a device's Device Information Page.
Table Filtering is Not Working
Issue
Filtering is not working when viewing results in a table.
Solution
Please note that this issue only affects customers who have held an account with Connectivity Management since before 2014.
This issue is being worked on and will be fixed in the next release.
Logs Section Result Filter
Issue
The filter in the Support>Logs section is slow to respond.
The following screenshot highlights the filter that this issue affects.
Solution
If you are trying to view logging information for a specific device, you can use the Support>Troubleshooting section instead.
To view logging information for specific devices:
- Navigate to the Support>Troubleshooting section of Connectivity Management.
- Enter either the device's Device ID number, ICCID identifier or MSISDN number into the text box.
If you are querying multiple devices, enter each device's details on a new line. - Click on the Submit button to complete the process.
Notification Section's Product and Operator Filter
Issue
Some operators are missing from the Product and Operator filter in the Support>Notifications section.
The following screenshot highlights the filter that this issue affects.
Solution
Although some operators are missing from this filter, valid notifications for all operators can be displayed by viewing all Open notifications.
To view all Open notifications:
- Navigate to the Support>Notifications section of Connectivity Management.
- Select the following options from the drop-down menus on this page:
- If there are any valid notifications, they will be displayed in the Please Note panel.
